The Wilting and Falling (2020)

Running with the natural motifs of ‘wilting, falling, rooting, rising and blooming’ derived from Rupi Kaur’s ‘the sun and her flowers’ the collection conveys a journey through lockdown. The paintings are inspired by collages formed from photography taken during this experience of the pandemic, navigating the memory of freedom and adventure we once basked in to the isolation we live in now.
