You are warmly invited to “CONNECTIVITÉ, Reading School of Art Winter Cabaret 2020.” Please join us on Wednesday 2nd December 2020 at 18:00 GMT as students from all year groups host our first live and online Winter Cabaret.
The Winter Cabaret is an annual event showcasing artworks produced by students during the autumn term. It is an opportunity for artists from all year groups to work with and support each other in the production of a large group show.
This year’s winter cabaret event will take place online. Engaging with different materials and ideas, we’ve curated our artworks thematically around subjects including climate change and environment, self and body, Covid-19 and lockdown, politics, fieldwork and lots more. Paintings, sculptures, videos and performances will be staged in a variety of settings, reflecting how we continue to adapt our making and exhibiting processes during the pandemic.
