Welcome to Our World (2020)

This video shows imagery of dollhouse sculpture, showing a hand-sewn doll (Boudicca) and a marionette puppet (Balthazaar), with an eerie soundtrack. The dolls represent the stereotypical heterosexual couple and the tyranny of lockdown and the biological family. The room is Victorian inspired, as a reference to the common “horror tropes” found in popular media. This is just progress work, not a finished piece.
