Using a combination of distorted and romanticised memory, nostalgia, and illusory landscapes, Fluorescent Dreams depicts a dreamlike state incorporated into an unnaturally vibrant landscape; a location that could only exist in one’s subconscious or imagination. In the current climate of today’s society and the accelerating added stresses to everyday life, I have found myself having more vivid and vibrant dreams, almost like my subliminal psyche is seeking a route of escape from reality.
