My work employs themes of the sublime and is a platform for discussion. I invert images of natural landscapes in order to create this dystopian imagery that represents the damage we are doing to the planet. My painting can be scanned using the inverter app ‘Luis Merchan’ so that audiences can see how the landscape should look. RAISE YOUR VOICE NOT THE SEA LEVEL (2020) is a combination of poly-filla and acrylic on stretched canvas.
